News Release – Vancouver, British Columbia – Tuesday September 19th, 2023: TUT Fitness Group Inc (TSX-V:GYM) (Frankfurt: 7PG) (“TUT” or the “Company”), a leading provider of high-performance and affordable Microgyms, is pleased to announce that TUT Ambassador Andre De Grasse won the men’s 200m title at the 2023 World Athletics Diamond League Finals in Eugene, Oregon on Sunday September 18th, 2023 at Hayward Field.
Returning to the track where he started his breakout USC Trojans track and field career, De Grasse, a fan favorite, finished first ahead of two of the world’s top three 200m sprinters this year, Erriyon Knighton and Kenny Bednarek, with De Grasse running a season’s best time of 19.76 seconds over the 200m distance. With this win De Grasse becomes the first Canadian sprinter to a win a Diamond League Title.
De Grasse’s marketing agent Brian Levine commented “Andre delivered a masterclass in resilience, patience and perseverance through the 2023 season.
